My big adventure started back in May 2017. I was presented the opportunity of a lifetime, to help to build out China product team in our brand headquarter in NYC. I love this brand and I love adventure so I said YES! I picked up my life, packed up my stuff, and moved to the other side of the globe with my passion for fashion and technology.
Being the only representative of China market in NYC during digital transformation, I was flooded with nerves and excitement. I love to make our customers happier and our work smarter by leveraging technology. Thus I focused on delivering market-exclusive assortments and helped to implement supply chain business solution tools. Nothing can beat the happiness of seeing customers wearing our CNY collection during CNY. It was also an exceptionally rewarding experience to hear business users mention their productivity got improved in the speed of sitting on a rocket. After the digital transition, I got a new offer to join our corporate digital & tech family in San Francisco. I am passionate about customer Journey and strive to understand the complexities of system integrations and operational impact. So, I said YES again! From one brand to four brands, from one international market to global markets, from business solution tools to customer-facing digital experience, I get to sharpen my technical skills, develop better user empathy and gain a global perspective. Starting my career as a buyer/Merchant, I always enjoy being the voice of customers to the brand. Now in the digital & tech team, I still act as customer advocate, but focus on optimizing the digital experience journey this time. With customer curiosity in mind, I thrive in environments where I can bring together my interdisciplinary skills in analytics, product strategy, and digital operation. My goal is to identify opportunities and build solutions that make an impact on customer experience and business performance. I enjoy the fun and thrills on the ride. |
